[NEWS] Coachella 2011 Line-Up Announced by wearesme

Coachella 2011 Lineup Poster

This doesnt require much of a write up because the above poster is self explanatory. We don’t need to tell you how incredible this line-up looks and how extremely jealous we are that it isn’t being held in the U.K!! (insert sad face)

Arcade Fire, Kanye West and Kings of Leon headline the event which is held in Indio, California and runs from April 15-17th and are worth the admission alone; never mind the 100+ other acts!

If you’re lucky enough to be going; SME hate you.

[VIDEO + SNAPS] Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kanye & co bring in 2011 in style @ Marquee, Las Vegas by wearesme

It was a night unlike any other the Vegas Strip has ever seen at the grand opening of Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on New Years Eve.

Acclaimed global superstar DJ Erick Morillo kicked off the night with a set in the club’s Main Room and led the countdown to 2011, while Interscope’s Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre got the party started in the club’s VIP room with DJ Ross One. After the Jay-Z and Coldplay private concert in the event center at The Cosmopolitan the celebrties decended en masse to the new mega club for a historic opening.

HOVA was joined by the likes of Kanye West, Flloyd Mayweather, P.Diddy and our very own Florence Welch.

Check out footage of Kanye and HOVA on the mic, and pictures from the night below. It looked incredible!

[VIDEO] VH1 DIVAS 2010 SALUTE THE TROOPS (Performances) by wearesme

We brought you the photos of The VH1 Divas 2010 Salute The Troops concert yesterday, and the show finally aired in the U.S last night so we can now bring you the footage!

There were performances from Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Paramore, Sugarland but it was Grace Porter & The Nocturnals who stole the show!

The band aren’t nearly as big as fellow performers like Katy Perry or Nicki Minaj but they brought amazing energy to their set and rocked, out with their set including a duet with Heart. Following their performance their website crashed, they took over Twitter mentions and reached #5 on Google’s Hot Searches in the U.S.

You can check out their brilliant performance below along with all the other acts.
