[NEWS] Coachella 2011 Line-Up Announced by wearesme

Coachella 2011 Lineup Poster

This doesnt require much of a write up because the above poster is self explanatory. We don’t need to tell you how incredible this line-up looks and how extremely jealous we are that it isn’t being held in the U.K!! (insert sad face)

Arcade Fire, Kanye West and Kings of Leon headline the event which is held in Indio, California and runs from April 15-17th and are worth the admission alone; never mind the 100+ other acts!

If you’re lucky enough to be going; SME hate you.

John Legend and his new buddies The Roots have covered the Arcade Fire track ‘Wake Up’. Their collaborative new album is actually titled ‘Wake Up’, however this cover strangely didn’t make the cut.

As part of Radio 1’s Fearne (Cotton) and Zane’s (Lowe) Student Tour, several British artists who have performed on said tour were asked to perform a cover of their choice in the Live Lounge.

Darwin Deez, Chase & Status, The Klaxons and Mark Ronson all stepped up to the plate and here is the outcome for your listening pleasure:

Darwin Deez – Teenage Dream (Katy Perry Cover)
Unfortunately this has been removed from SoundCloud but you can listen to it here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/sessions/2010-10-19_darwindeez

Chase & Status – Prayin’ (Plan B Cover)

Mark Ronson & The Businness Intl. – We Used To Wait (Arcade Fire Cover)
