“Fruitellas in my pocket, I’m a G when im ‘ere”

Here is the video for the soundtrack to Anuvahood; a hilarious spoof film and the UK’s first ‘urban comedy’, from Adam Deacon.

The video features BBK’s JME and Adam Deacon with a cameo from Richard Blackwood, who looks like he’s having fun pouring Reggae Reggae sauce over Big Brother star Aisleyne’s breasts.

Anuvahood is in cinemas on March 18th. If you haven’t already seen the hilarious trailer, check it out below.

It’s a hype hype ting!

“Wind down the window, all 3 man in the whip wanna get fasty / Get 3 killstreak get a spyplane jump on an aeroplane like Stacey”

Jamie drops a freestyle over his brothers beat ‘Mike Lowery’ and with it comes a jokes lickle video of JME spitting, while his alter ego is skanking on the MAC in the background.

As usual there are some big bars in there from our favourite grime scene character; “I’m not always in the bits but the bits are in me like Tropicana”.

[NEWS] JME – BLAM! by wearesme

Today is ‘BLAM!’ day!

JME aka Jamie Adenuga released his second album today; and as big fans of his music SME went straight to HMV this morning to grab a copy (it was the last in the store!).

It’s a sick album; JME is one of the few remaining artists who is still making grime music on a professional level and he should be championed for this. He sticks to what he loves and does best; lyrically he’s on point as ever and the production on this album has been stepped up with some sick beats in there like ‘Oh’ and ‘Music Ting’ (our favourite track) which has a dubstep vibe to it.

With 16 tracks and features from the likes of Wiley, Skepta, Tempa T and Jammer; its well worth spending your hard-earned on.

Head over to Amazon and listen to snippets if you want to try before you buy.

Currently on our holidays galivanting around Africa/Europe so SME would like to apologise for the lack of post in past weeks and hope you are all enjoying the summer sun too.

Talking of continents, Boy Better Know that grime is coming to the U.S!

Following a post by P Diddy on Twitter, asking U.K fans to recommend an artist to remix his single ‘Hello Good Morning’, Skepta was the outstanding candidate. And rightfully so.

Diddy is a big fan of UK grime. He said: “I remember the first time I heard grime. Blew my mind. This is the first song I had that it could work with.”

He wants to get more involved in the scene and is looking to sign a UK grime artist to his US label. After this collabo, he need not look any further. Skepta kills it.

“Somebody tell Specsavers I still can’t see no love….”

SME have always been big fans of Skepta and his brother JME since the ‘Lord Of The Mic’ days so its good to see BBK (Boy Better Know) going places.

Here’s the video for Skepta’s new single ‘Rescue Me’ due out this summer. Catchy chorus and Skepta going hard on the verses.

Also, a post about Skepta wouldn’t be complete without a reference to his freestyle on Westwood 1Xtra a few years ago. BIG.
