[REVIEW] Jackass 3D Premier – IMAX Southbank 02/10/10 by wearesme

On Tuesday night, SME were invited down to the Jackass 3D premiere at the IMAX cinema on Southbank.

What a bizarre experience! We’ve walked down the red carpet a few times, it was the madness that waited for us inside that we weren’t prepared for…

There were midget’s everywhere, serving drinks or just mingling in fancy dress. At one point an army of police turned up.

Then there was a tattoo parlour where a super fan was having Johnny Knoxville’s signature tattooed on him (really!?), along with a sticky suit wall where you could attempt to bounce as high as you could before launching yourself onto the velcro wall.

And if that wasn’t enough; we were casually sipping on a few brews brought to us by wee-mans posse, when over our shoulder, a full on hardcore wrestling match between a giant and midget kicked off in the lobby!

This all took place while we mingled with the likes of Chipmunk (below), The Inbetweeners and the cast of The Only Way Is Essex who were nicely bronzed for the occasion.

I suppose we should have expected nothing less from the Jackass boys.

As for the film, it was hilarious! Probably better than the first 2 and given a whole new dimension, quite literally, by the 3D effects.
And in answer to the question that’s on every ones mind, yes you see a 3D penis on several occasions. We were greeted with popcorn in sick bags which might have come in handy for some viewers.

Check out the trailer before the film is released in Cinemas tomorrow (5th November)

[VIDEO] Peroni Nastro Azzuro & Gabriele Muccino present ‘Senza Tempo’ by mozzatron

Peroni Nastro Azzurro has partnered with award-winning Italian film director Gabriele Muccino to create Accademia del Film.

The Italian film ‘academy’ aims to promote the iconic world of Italian film in the UK by celebrating the principles that have made and continue to make the Italian craft of film-making so unique, such as its rich heritage, passion and flair for aesthetic narrative.

The Accademia del Film Peroni Nastro Azzurro is brought to life by this bespoke short film director by Muccino – ‘Senza Tempo’ – which exemplifies the passion and attention to detail that Italian film-makers put into their craft.

Granted; having Italian heritage means we adore this piece of art but we’re sure anyone could appreciate Muccino’s work here.

The location, the styling, the story, the leading lady; beautiful.
