Since the release of TRON: LEGACY and the Daft Punk-produced soundtrack, it has introduced the French duo to a whole new audience.

This mini-documentary by WatchMojo tells the story of Daft Punk, so far – where they started and how they progressed in both their music and appearance and how they have helped bring electronic/house music into the mainstream.

Earlier in the year SME brought the Entourage news that Daft Punk would be producing the soundtrack to Disney’s sequel to 80’s cinematic classic ‘Tron’. Then, last month, SME gave you a 6 minute preview of the ‘Tron: Legacy’ score.

The Daft Punk/Tron collabo continues with the bad-man head-cans you see above. They’re the brainchild of audio company Monster, the same geezers (geezettes?) who gave us the serious Dr Dre headphones you’ve seen every Tom, Dick and Harry bustin’ on the Northern Line to work.

The headphones come with LED lights (as standard), an homage to the luminescent lighting that can be seen throughout the film franchises. SME will give you a knowing nod when you’re wearing them in a sweaty train carriage too.
