We Are S.M.E

[LISTEN] The Strokes – Angles (Full Album Stream) by wearesme

Ladies and Gentlemen, the wait is over; The Strokes are back and here we have their latest record in all it’s glory.

Angles is the New York bands first album for almost 5 years; an incredible wait for a group with so many plaudits and a massive following.

They kicked off all the hype with the release of Under Cover Of Darkness as a free download via their website and this was followed by leaks of Machu Pichu and You’re So Right and a performance on SNL.

Listen to the album in full below and let us know if it was worth the wait!

Here is a new offering from Wiley, who appears to be putting at least some time aside to make music, in between filming ridiculous adverts and videos for his YouTube account; his latest offering is a lesson in boiling an egg. We kid you not.

Wiley teams up with Giggs and Juelz Santana for this banger Bright Lights. The beat is simple yet mad catchy, while Wiley, Giggs and Santana all go in on their respective verses. Bright lights b-b-b!

Here is the brand new video for Michael Jackson’s Hollywood Tonight; the latest single taken from the controversial album Michael.

The visuals produced by Teddy Riley, follow a female dancer who moves to Hollywood to pursue her dreams. It is shot and directed really well, doing the story behind the song justice. The leading lady is a sick dancer and might just give the hardcore MJ fans amongst you goosebumps, with her dance routine over the king of pop’s star on the Walk of Fame.

Wretch and Examples new single Unorthodox is proving to be a popular track amongst DJ’s and producers, with a number of them jumping on the remix.

Here are 2 of the better attempts from Distance and Logistics. Distance’s dubstep version in particular impressed us, giving the original progressive kicks, snares and a lickle bit of bass. Logistics meanwhile, gives it a drum and bass makeover that gets you on your toes. Check out both remixes below.
