Ladies and Gentlemen, the wait is over; The Strokes are back and here we have their latest record in all it’s glory.
Angles is the New York bands first album for almost 5 years; an incredible wait for a group with so many plaudits and a massive following.
They kicked off all the hype with the release of Under Cover Of Darkness as a free download via their website and this was followed by leaks of Machu Pichu and You’re So Right and a performance on SNL.
Listen to the album in full below and let us know if it was worth the wait!
It’s finally here; 19-year-old Mac Miller’s Best Day Ever mixtape featuring Wiz Khalifa and Phonte.
Having recently been appointed in XXL’s Freshman year for 2011 alongside the likes of CyHi The Prynce, Diggy Simmons and Yelawolf amongst others; big things are predicted for Mac Miller.
Festival favourites Noah And The Whale are releasing a brand new album titled Last Night on Earth on 7th March, and thanks to NME you can preview the album in its entirety before its release, via the quirky player above. The album includes the single ‘L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N’ and Wild Thing.

This time last week love was in the air on Valentines day and we’ve certainly got love for Jamie xx’s live set at The Corsica Studio’s for the Boiler Room Valentines Session.
And as if having Jamie on the decks wasn’t a sufficient Valentines surprise, he brought along Yasmin to go b2b and perform a new track that they have been working on; a cover of Rui Da Silva’s classic house song ‘Touch Me’.
It is unclear if this brilliant re-work is set to feature on Yasmin’s debut album on which Jamie has been producing, but either way SME hope it gets a release.
Listen to the full set below and check out the video footage of Yasmin’s performance.
